WORK SAFE operates on job works in its tannery with a commitment towards a clean and green environment. Our Environment friendly tannery is located in Kolkata Leather Complex and in Ranipet Sipcot, an area designated by the local government.
Our leathers are processed from Cow, Buffalo and Goat hides purchased within India and from various international markets. The leathers are processed according to the industry norms laid down by the CE norms and other international standards for tanning and methods of waste disposal.
Our tanning facility has experienced workforce and state-of-the-art machineries, and has the capacity to produce around 10 million sq. ft. per annum of grain and split leather required for manufacturing our products.

Gloves Manufacturing Facility
WORK SAFE’s manufacturing units are established at Leather Complex near Kolkata, which is a new initiative of West Bengal government in India.
We have a capacity of manufacturing 5 million pairs of gloves annually using the finest craftsmanship and leather. The leather for our gloves is sourced internally from our tannery.
We constantly invest in new equipment and technologies, in order to improve our product quality and earn customer satisfaction. We have a separate quality control department in our organization, wherein specialists thoroughly inspect each and every stage of production. This ensures that our gloves conform to the strict European CE norms and other international standards as required by the customer.
Our manufacturing facility conforms to the workers’ health and safety guidelines. We engage no child labour in our workplace. The workforce employed for seamless execution of production is professionally trained and highly skilled in their job. Right from the stage of procurement of raw material until the storing and packaging of the end-product, our experts are involved in every step.
Moreover, we keep sufficient stock of gloving leather of different types so that we can supply, at short notice, various qualities of gloves in large quantities.
